EDUCATION
B.M., Peabody Conservatory of Music, The Johns Hopkins University
Mr. Denhard, Lecturer/Instructor of Music, is a composer and professional performer on trombone, Celtic harp, and bagpipes. Recent composition commissions have come from the Kinetics Dance Theatre, Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, and Villa Julie College. He has released five CDs, two of which are made up of his own compositions. He has performed as a solist with the Delaware Symphoney and the Baltimore Municipal Band. He is a member of several musical organizations, among them O'Malley's March, the Lexington Brass Quintet, and Keltia. He has taught previously at the Cathedral School of Mary Our Queen, the Park School, and was Chairman of the Music Department at Garrison Forest School. He makes frequent educational presentations for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's Arts Excel program.
