EDUCATION
B.S., Frostburg State College
M.Ed., Coppin State College
I have been on one side or the other of a teacher's desk every year since I was five. My life revolves around the school calendar not the annual calendar.
I graduated from Frostburg State College in 1967 and began teaching mathematics in Harford County, Maryland that fall. Over the next thirty-one years I was a teacher, a guidance counselor, an assistant principal, and a department chairperson. Along the way, I earned a Masters in Education at Copping State College (1975) in counseling, did post graduate work at Loyola College, and became the mother of two children (1969 & 1975).
While my husband (also a teacher) and I enjoy being "retired" we both work part time. We also like working on our house near Ocean City, spending time with our grandchildren, bicycling, and traveling.
