Associate Dean and Director of Lindy Reymann oversees the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center, which opened in the fall 2006, is comprised of health and counseling services. She has 27 years experience as a registered nurse. She started her career at Johns Hopkins Hospital on a surgical unit, specializing in transplantation. She has taught nursing for 17 years, twelve of those years at Villa Julie.
Director Reymann is currently completing her doctorate at Loyola College in Pastoral Counseling. Upon completion of a master's degree in counseling she became a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She received her Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland in April 2008. She was on an advisory board with NIH pertaining to National Alcohol Awareness Day. She looks forward to completing her dissertation on hope and well being of college students.
Director Reymann is past treasurer of Rho Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. She has a strong interest in health promotion. In March 2007 she was a member of the 10th Annual Health Education Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. In addition, in 2006-2007 she was a VIP member of Who's Who of Executives and Professionals. She is a member of ACHA (American College Health Association), ACA (American Counseling Association), and AUCCCD (Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors.
