Louise "Chris" Roberts is currently the Department Chair of Communication Arts and has taught at Villa Julie for twenty years. She is a Villa Julie graudate who went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Towson University, a Master's of Liberal Arts form the Johns HOpkins University and a Master's of Fine Arts in Theatre from Towson University.
After years of teaching theatre and performing in theatrical productions, she developed an interest in television and spent six months interning at WJZ TV in Baltimore. She also co-owned a television production company with her husband; a company that has won numerous awards include The New York Film Festival and an Emmy.
She now devotes her time teaching full-time and heading the department.
