Spectrum Guidelines and Submission Form
Spectrum, published annually in the spring, includes poems, short stories, essays, and black and white artwork and photography by Villa Julie students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Guidelines for Literary Submissions
- Essays, fiction, and poetry are accepted by the editors for consideration for publication.
- Submissions from VJC students, faculty, staff, and alumni are welcome.
- Each entry must be submitted electronically using this form or through an email to spectrum@mail.vjc.edu.
- Submission will be judged anonymously by a panel of students and faculty.
- Copyrights for work published in Spectrum will revert to the individual authors.
- Scholarship hours may be awarded for submissions.
- Work that is selected may be edited for correctness, consistency, or space. You will receive an email copy of edited work before publication. If you do not reply, the editors will assume that you approve the changes.
- Black and white art work and photographs should be submitted to Natasha Ortiz-Fortier.
